Kristin Yokomoto is a partner at Albrecht & Barney in Irvine, California, where she focuses on estate and business planning, trust administration and probate.
Kristin started practicing law in 1996 as a business litigator in San Diego, and also focused on venture capital funding and mergers and acquisitions in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She has also helped investors to set up funds and comply with federal and state securities laws, and ran her own law firm for nine years helping families and business owners with their estate planning needs. Prior to practicing law, Kristin was a financial analyst at Hughes Aircraft Company in Tucson, Arizona and Hewlett-Packard in Boise, Idaho.
She is a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel and the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections of the Orange County Bar Association. Kristin is the Secretary and on the Board of Directors of STEP-Orange County. She has a B.A. degree from the University of California Santa Barbara, M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arizona, and two LL.M. in Taxation degrees from the San Diego University School of Law and Chapman University School of Law.
